Europcar Will Rent GM’s Electric Ampera Car
The two companies are going to work together to offer the first Amperas in Germany in November, followed by Belgium and the Netherlands.
Europcar will rent General Motors' Opel/Vauxhall Ampera electric model later this year, according to a Financial Times article.
The two companies said they would work together to offer the first Amperas in Germany in November, followed by Belgium and the Netherlands. The car is a European version of GM's Chevrolet Volt and will be available in France, Italy, Portugal and Spain in 2012.
Opel and Europcar will work together to introduce the electric vehicle. After renting the vehicles, customers can provide feedback through online chats and surveys.
