Europcar is now offering its customers the chance to use a fast-track check-in service when they rent a car.
Under the new Airside initiative, customers traveling into many of the key UK airports will be able to have their car rental reservations processed before they even board the plane.
The scheme, which has already been successfully piloted, means that airport officials at the departure airport will contact the renting location to verify the customer's details, ensuring a "seamless service" at the destination airport.
Europcar operates in over 5,300 rental outlets in 160 countries and has a fleet of over 241,000 vehicles.
In 2006 Europcar signed almost ten million rental contracts and provided its services to its clients throughout Europe, Africa, the Middle East, Latin America and the Asia-Pacific region.
