Finalrentals recently launched operations in Turkey, marking a major car rental expansion deal in the country.
This strategic move opens doors to five key Turkish destinations: Istanbul, Izmir, Ankara, Marmaris, and Dalaman.
Now, Finalrentals customers can book cars from Istanbul airports, as well as from Ankara, Izmir, and Dalaman, complementing their travel experiences across these bustling hubs.
“Turkey presents a uniquely challenging car rental market, being one of the largest and most competitive in Europe,” said Ammar Akhtar, the founder and CEO of Finalrentals, in a June 17 news release. “Breaking into this market as an outsider is no small feat. However, our participation in ITB Berlin enabled us to connect with prospective partners, leading to the most significant deal we've ever sealed.”
Akhtar called this year transformative for Finalrentals. By engaging in global trade shows and events, the company has unlocked new markets and established vital connections, he said.
“Being present in these markets provides unparalleled advantages – from gaining critical insights to negotiating deals face-to-face.”
The surge in overseas demand for rental car services has driven Finalrentals to refine its strategy and concentrate on international expansion.
Since the start of the year, the company has received a 300% increase in inbound partnership requests. Finalrentals aims to operate in 100 countries by the end of 2025.
