Fort Lauderdale is the new home to Finalrentals’ newest car rental affiliate location in the U.S., the operator announced today.

The partnership has been secured by Alberto Lucente, a seasoned car rental professional and entrepreneur with multiple locations in Florida. Lucente already has Finalrentals in his Miami location and has been working with Finalrentals since May 2021, according to the announcement.

"FLL is a very important destination for travelers as well as for Finalrentals and we understand it will create immense value for our users who can now book their rental car service at FLL as well as Miami," said Ammar Akhtar, founder and CEO of Finalrentals. "This choice is a great option for our users, and we are looking forward to expanding to more destinations in the United States of America by actively seeking new partnership opportunities."

“As one of the early believers of Finalrentals brand, I have seen the brand grow from strength from only two locations when it started to 20 countries as of today,” said Alberto Lucente, the owner of Finalrentals partnership in Miami and FLL. "We are thrilled to bring Finalrentals to FLL for the customers and we are looking forward to serving the car rental bookings with the best customer service level as we have done at our Miami location."

The Fort Lauderdale office will serve the FLL airport by shuttle service.

Finalrentals offers car rental franchise and affiliate programs, and is headquartered in Wales, United Kingdom. This year alone, it has added 14 new countries to its global network.
