"When we met Carlos, we knew this relationship would bring immense value to the Finalrentals network and our customers worldwide who would like to visit Portugal," said Ammar Akhtar, CEO of Finalrentals.

Finalrentals has operated in Portugal for decades and has built a strong reputation, making it an attractive option for Santos.

“Finalrentals comes across as a consumer-facing new-age thinking organization, and that is what we need in Portugal at the moment as consumers are looking for fresh and different approaches to car rentals,” Santos said. “We have done incredible work in corporate car rental market as well as commercial vehicles. We believe that consumer facing car rental will see an incredible boom in the post COVID economy and our partnership with Finalrentals has innovative value as well as strategic value.”

"Connecting our brand to Portugal is a wonderful milestone for us, and we believe under the leadership of Santos, we have a bright future," concluded Ines Hadzic, CCO at Finalrentals.
