Flexcar, the month-to-month flexible car lease company, recently racked up 200 million miles driven by members in its East Coast markets.
The company said it underscores the rising demand for its commitment-free alternative to traditional car ownership.
“This speaks volumes about how Flexcar offers the benefits of having a car, and none of the hassles,” said Ryan Quinlan, president and COO of Flexcar, in a July 21 news release. “Whether it's for daily commuting, or driving kids to school and sports, our members rely on Flexcar to get the perfect car for their needs without being locked into an expensive long-term lease or purchase.”
Flexcar lets drivers choose the exact new or used vehicle they want and drive it on a month-to-month lease, free to swap cars or cancel anytime.
Surpassing 200 million miles driven comes during growth for Flexcar. Recent company benchmarks include:
Expanding the Flexcar fleet to over 200 makes and models, including top picks like the Jeep Grand Cherokee, Nissan Altima, Volvo XC60, and Chevy Equinox. It also expanded its luxury fleet to include a range of 2025 Mercedes models.
Launching the Flexcar Gas Save program, offering exclusive discounts of up to 30¢ per gallon at participating Sunoco stations across East Coast markets.
Opening its first retail store in the Boston-area to give residents a hands-on way to learn about Flexcar’s offerings, choose a vehicle that fits their needs, and pick up their vehicles in the Boston area.
Moving into a new headquarters in downtown Boston. The new office spans more than 16,000 square feet, to support the company’s ongoing investment in employees and member services.
Flexcar serves metro areas across the East Coast, including Atlanta, Boston, Charlotte, and Nashville.
