FlightCar Now Offers Monthly Park-and-Share Program
With its park-and-share program FlightCar Monthly, members rent out their cars to FlightCar at least 26 days per month and in return receive free parking as well as $150 to $400 per month.
Peer-to-peer car-sharing company FlightCar announces the launch of FlightCar Monthly, its monthly park-and-share program.
According to the company, car owners agree to let FlightCar rent out their cars for at least 26 days of a 30-day rolling period, which starts when handing over their keys to FlightCar’s attendants. Then participating car owners will receive fully-insured, secure parking as well as $150 to $400 every month, depending on the vehicle's make and model — regardless of whether their cars are rented or not.
In addition, FlightCar Monthly members will still be able to use their cars (or equivalents) for up to four days a month.
According to FlightCar CEO Rujul Zaparde, the program could appeal to college students, downtown residents, working professionals or monthly customers of public parking garages.
“FlightCar launched as the first company to tackle airport congestion and overpriced airport parking and car rental for travelers, and then we realized local residents who lived downtown were using FlightCar just so they wouldn’t have to pay garage fees or deal with street cleaning,” said Zaparde.
According to FlightCar, consumers that are interesting in this program can start applying today. For more information, visit www.FlightCar.com/Monthly.
