FlyerTalk, the online frequent flyer community, announced the winners of the 2012 FlyerTalk Awards on April 26 honoring the best affinity programs in the airline, hotel and car rental industries.
Hertz Corp. was recognized for its Hertz #1 Club in both categories for the Best Rewards Program and Outstanding Benefit in all three regions: Americas, Europe/Africa and Middle East/Asia/Oceania.
The winners were chosen by members of the FlyerTalk community. They were able to vote from Jan. 16 to Feb. 16 for their favorite rewards programs of the past year, following a weeks-long nominations process that took place in December 2011. Voters were asked to submit a six-part online ballot, ranking their top four programs in each award category.
The full list of winner can be viewed here.
