As part of GoDrive’s expansion in London, Ford is offering guests at the Limehouse Holiday Inn access to the carsharing service, according to a FleetWorld report.

Ford officially launched GoDrive in London in May. The project started as one of more than 25 experiments through Ford Smart Mobility, Ford’s plan to use technology to take the company to the next level in connectivity, mobility and autonomous vehicles.

“We’re focused on working with Londoners to understand their mobility needs,” Alicia Agius, project lead of GoDrive, told FleetWorld. “We’ve found that carsharing can complement existing transport systems — and give people a valued option for moving around the city. This new hub will let us explore how visitors to the city can benefit from access to flexible carsharing. In particular, we think it has huge value to people visiting London on business.”

At Limehouse, hotel guests will have access to a zero-emission Focus Electric or Fiesta Ecoboost. For 17 pounds a minute, the price includes fuel, insurance and parking, according to the report.
