FSNA Adds Two Directors to Board
Franchise Services of North America Inc. (FSNA) has appointed Duncan Murdoch and David Miller to the company's board of directors.
Franchise Services of North America Inc. (FSNA) has appointed Duncan Murdoch and David Miller to the company's board of directors. The new directors are with the Macquarie Group based out of New York.
David Miller serves as managing director at Macquarie Capital. Prior to joining Macquarie in April of 2008, Miller was a managing director at Giuliani Capital Advisors and Ernst & Young Corporate Finance. His responsibilities have included initiating and executing acquisition, divestiture, financing and restructuring transactions.
He has advised companies and their other major stakeholders on more than 150 transactions across a wide range of industries, including aerospace, automotive, business services, capital equipment, consumer products and retail, according to the company.
Duncan Murdoch serves as a senior managing director and co-head of the U.S. Principal Transactions Group for Macquarie Capital. Duncan is responsible for the origination, execution and oversight of all investment activities involving Macquarie Capital's own balance sheet, with a team of 21 people and a portfolio of about $1 billion, according to the company. Prior to joining Macquarie in 2001, Duncan worked for BMO Nesbitt Burns Inc. in Toronto.
