GM Ends Carsharing Service Maven in 8 Cities
Maven, launched in 2016 as a no-membership-fee carsharing service, will continue to be available in some of the markets its leaving under the peer-to-peer carsharing service, Maven Gig.
The service will continue to be available in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Detroit, and Toronto.

General Motors' carsharing service Maven is closing down operations in eight of the 17 North American cities where it operates, The Verge reports.
In a statement, the company said it was shuttering its programs in certain cities — such as Boston, New York City, and Chicago — to focus on better performing markets. The service will continue to be available in Los Angeles, Washington, D.C., Detroit, and Toronto.
