GM had promised to buy back $33 million in vehicles from Enterprise as part of a repurchase agreement. Enterprise spokesperson Christy Conrad said that the company has received assurances from GM that it will honor the agreement.
GM listed $173 billion in liabilities and $82 billion in assets in its bankruptcy filing.
