Go Rentals, an Orange County-based elite car rental services company, has teamed up with the Jessie Rees Foundation for Pediatric Cancer, the company announced earlier this month.

This holiday season, Go Rentals will be donating JoyJars on behalf of its top guests, hotel and resort partners, and team members. These gifts reach children in hospitals and homes who are fighting life-altering medical illnesses.

The Jessie Rees Foundation is an organization inspired by 12-year-old Jessie Rees and was created to fulfill Jessie’s wish that every child fighting cancer would be personally encouraged to Never Ever Give Up (NEGU). JoyJars, created by Jessie during her 10-month fight with cancer, are used to spread hope, joy and love to these children. JoyJars have reached children in over 192 children’s hospitals and over 175 Ronald McDonald Houses in the US and throughout the world.

“We are honored to support such an important and empowering cause; one that affects so many children,” says company President, Kavous Gitibin. “We wanted to create this campaign to help generate awareness of Pediatric Cancer and to make it easy for people to contribute if they wanted to. And we’re always pleased to support another Orange County-based organization.”

The Jessie Rees Foundation is estimating to send out more than 50,000 JoyJars this year including 20,000 Holiday versions for kids spending the holiday season in the hospital. More information is available at www.NEGU.org.
