Ireland’s car-sharing service GoCar has opened a new location at Dublin’s University College, according to a report by the Irish Times.
Initially, GoCar will provide two Ford Fiesta GoCity vehicles for students and staff at the university.

“GoCar offers a convenient and cost effective travel solution to our members, and we encourage people to think differently about car ownership,” GoCar Chief Executive Colm Brady told the Irish Times. “This is a wonderful opportunity to get this message to the future leaders and decision makers of Ireland.”
Currently, GoCar offers 70 vehicles to rent by the hour in Dublin and Cork, says the company.
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
The combination brings actionable vehicle insights into PurCo’s PurInspect platform, improving damage detection and operational efficiency for rental fleets.
