Green Motion Expands to Mexico

The company recently announced its expansion into Mexico and will be offering services at 12 strategic locations throughout the country.

Green Motion Vehicle Rental, an environmentally-focused car and van hire company, announced its expansion into Mexico following the successful ongoing development of its network in the United Kingdom.

Green Motion's Master Country Franchise for Mexico was awarded by Sevicios Automotrices Nacionales, S.A. de C.V.-a long established vehicles rental organization.  

"I'm absolutely delighted to announce the start of Green Motion's worldwide expansion into Mexico," according to Richard Lowden, founder and managing director of Green Motion. "We've partnered with a long established and highly experienced and professional team led by the Ochoa Family who have already proven to be a superb credit to our network."

"Mexico represents a highly strategic development for Green Motion and I'm confident that the team at Sevicios Automotrices Nacionales  will deliver exceptional levels of service while providing the Mexican market the unique opportunity to hire vehicles boasting the lowest CO2 emissions, within the national and daily rental market," Lowden added.

Green Motion will be offering its services at 6 Airport terminal operations:

Chihuahua International Airport
Ciudad, Juarez International Airport
Reynosa, Tamaulipas International Airport
Saltillo, Coahuila International Airport
Torreon, Coahuila International Airport
Zihuatanejo, Guerrero International Airport

As well as 6 downtown locations at:

Chihuahua
Ciudad, Juárez
Reynosa
Saltillo
Torreón
Zihuatanejo

Green Motion Mexico has further expansion plans underway with openings planned soon in Monterrey, Mexico City and Cancun.

 "For our family to join Green Motion network represents a tremendous opportunity to go national taking advantage of engage with a modern company that promotes a concept that it is just right, to be friendly with the environment, and of our more than 30 years in the Mexican car rental market."  According to Sergio Ochoa, Green Motion Mexico's general director.

Currently, Green Motion Mexico's vehicle rental fleet consists of low CO2 cars from Nissan, Dodge, General Motors, Hyundai, Volkswagen and Renault.
