Green Motion Expands to Zanzibar
Green Motion Zanzibar was acquired by local entrepreneur Abeid Ali Abdalla who currently operates an independent car rental brand in the country.

Green Motion Zanzibar is taking car rental reservations beginning Oct. 1 at Zanzibar International Airport as well as Zanzibar Ferry Terminal, with further rental locations planned to open across the archipelago in due course.

Environmentally focused car rental brand Green Motion has launched in Zanzibar, continuing its expansion in Africa and the Middle East.
Green Motion Zanzibar was acquired by local entrepreneur Abeid Ali Abdalla who currently operates an independent car rental brand in the country. Inspired by Green Motion's expansion in countries such as Kenya and Morocco, Abdalla acquired the rights for the Green Motion brand in order to pursue his objective of taking his business to the next level with the support of an international brand.
