Global car rental brand Green Motion International announced today that mask wearing will be made mandatory in every Green Motion location.
Green Motion's "thumbs up to face masks" campaign began in summer 2020, highlighting the importance of wearing a face mask for the protection of all customers and staff.
"As the COVID-19 vaccine rollout progresses with earnest across the world, the time to be complacent is not now," Green Motion Founder and CEO Richard Lowden said in a statement. "While the vast majority of our highly valued customers are fully supportive of maintaining social distancing and the wearing of a mask, there still remains a few that are non-compliant."
