The Hertz Corp. has added Ford Focus ST-H models to its Fun Collection in the Netherlands. Now available to rent from Schiphol Airport, the Ford Focus ST-H follows a tradition of Ford creating limited edition models hallmarked with an "H" for Hertz.

Each Ford Focus ST-H hatchback sports a Panther Black color with distinctive gold stripes and alloy wheels finished in gold metallic, says Hertz. The look echoes the exteriors of Ford's Shelby Mustang GT350H and Shelby GT-H — which Hertz introduced for rent in 1966 and 1980, respectively.

"The sleek black exterior along with the special gold stripes and wheels of the spectacular Ford Focus ST-H are a tribute to the Shelby Mustang GT350H and the Shelby GT-H editions created for Hertz in the past,” said Michel Taride, group president of Hertz International. “The Ford Focus ST-H expertly blends this tradition with the refined engineering of the modern performance hatchback. Its thrilling dynamics mark the Ford Focus ST-H as a perfect addition to the Fun Collection, where the emphasis is on the sheer joy of driving."

Like the standard Focus model, the Ford Focus ST-H is powered by a turbo charged direct-injection 2.0L EcoBoost engine that develops 252 horsepower with optimal fuel economy. The hatchback can accelerate from 0-100 km/h in 6.5 seconds.

The Ford Focus ST-H is available for rent from 90 euros per day. For more information, visit www.hertz.com.
