Hertz Announces Hertz Rent a Boat in the Netherlands
Under the new rental option, customers can choose from gondolas, luxury motorboats, taxi boats, open boats and large boats to cruise the Netherlands canals.
Hertz Corp. launched Hertz Rent a Boat in the Netherlands under a partnership with Boot Amsterdam B.V, allowing customers to explore Amsterdam by water on a variety of vessels.
Starting hourly at $5 per person or $135 per boat, renters can tour the city’s canals from gondolas, luxury motorboats, taxi boats and open boats, with a selection of large boats able to accommodate up to 35 people.
Large boats include a kitchen, bar, stern deck, audio system, toilet and electricity, depending on the selected boat. Customers also have the option of a private chef, barbeques or catering services.
Hertz is also offering a Hertz Canal Cruiser available to rent for $7 per person and can fit as many as 20 people.
“We are excited to now include boats as part of our diverse rental offer,” said Hertz International President Michel Taride. “Whether renters are looking for a relaxing cruise along the water with an experienced captain or want an adventure as they navigate themselves round the city’s water ways, Rent a Boat is an ideal option.”
