PARK RIDGE, N.J. -- Hertz this week launched a new program for the meetings and conventions market. Program benefits include discounted rates, complimentary rental certificates, site inspection discounts for pre-meeting trips, and free customized flyers printed with meeting and car rental information.
Meeting attendees will have the option to either pick up their car from a Hertz location or have it delivered to their hotel.
A new survey of North American meeting planners by YPB&R, an Orlando-based marketing firm, found that about one in five (19%) meeting planners expects to book more off-site meetings in 2005.
"As the meetings market rebounds in the year ahead, we are pleased to provide meeting planners with a comprehensive program to fulfill their car rental needs with a range of customized services," said Pamela Wright, division vice president for travel industry and partnership sales for Hertz.
