Hertz Global Holdings' Brian Casebolt, vice president of merchandising and ancillary revenue, has been recognized on the 2015 OUTstanding & Financial Times Top 100 Leading LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender) Executives List.

The list recognizes role models who work to ensure that the workplace is equally inclusive for everyone.
"We are incredibly proud to have Brian as a part of our organization and grateful for his efforts to champion a diverse, inclusive workplace at Hertz," said Eliana Zem, Hertz’s executive vice president and chief human resources officer. "Diversity is one of our cultural pillars, and we work hard to ensure it permeates the organization. Brian is a true leader in this important area for us."

Casebolt is No. 85 on the list compiled by OUTstanding, a not-for-profit professional network for LGBT executives and their allies, and published in association with the Financial Times. Those on the list were nominated by peers and colleagues, and nominations were reviewed by OUTstanding's judging panel.

Each person was scored on the seniority and influence of his or her role, impact on LGBT inclusion inside and outside the workplace and business achievements.

"I am humbled and honored to be recognized among the many influential business role models on this important list," said Casebolt. "Our local and global communities are strongest when we embrace diversity, and we unlock the full potential of our businesses when we are all able to live authentically. We all have a shared obligation, and I have a personal responsibility, to ensure future generations are able to continue the progress being made."

Casebolt will lead Hertz’s LGBT & Allies Employee Resource Group (ERG), which will be formed in the coming months and is a part of the company's employee engagement efforts, according to Hertz.
