The Hertz Corp. added three additional global markets to its loyalty program, Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, to provide customers around the globe with more opportunities to earn free car rental days.
The additions, which were announced on May 22, allow Gold Plus Rewards participants to earn and redeem their points on rentals made in Australia, New Zealand and Brazil.
Under the program, members earn one point for every dollar spent on each rental and a free rental can be redeemed for as little as 500 points.
Among the reward benefits are points that do not expire, 'AnyDay' reward options that have no blackout periods, online redemption on Hertz.com, point accrual for international rentals, and a range of car rewards including cars from Hertz's Adrenaline and Prestige Collections.
“With the addition of Australia, New Zealand and Brazil to Hertz Gold Plus Rewards, we have taken another step in expanding our customer loyalty program across the globe,” said Mark P. Frissora, Hertz chairman and CEO. “More importantly, we continue to make Gold Plus Rewards faster, easier, more flexible and a greater value to our members in the U.S. and Canada and around the world.”
Hertz Expands Rewards Program to Three More Countries
With the expansion, the Hertz Corp. will have successfully launched Hertz Gold Plus Rewards in 15 countries and territories in two years.
