Hertz Introduces Mobile App for Windows Phone
The Windows Phone App gives users the ability to search and book rentals, as well as use GPS tagging to locate gas stations or where the rental vehicle is parked.
The Hertz Corp. launched a new app for Windows Phone on Sept. 13. The app allows users to book, modify and search for car rental reservations.
Windows Phone users will also be able to locate the nearest gas station or where their rental car is parked through the Find My Car Feature on the app that uses GPS tagging.
“Hertz now has an app available on all four of the major smartphone platforms, which shows our commitment to staying current with the latest technology,” said Mark P. Frissora, chairman and CEO for Hertz. “More and more consumers are using a mobile device to book travel and Hertz's Windows app brings speed and ease to life across these platforms.”
