Hertz and Maaco Fleet Solutions have teamed up to launch on-site maintenance shops at Hertz car rental locations. Hertz selected Maaco for the project based on the value and long-standing relationship with the Maaco brand, says the company.
“Hertz is pleased to be partnering with Maaco, opening our first in-house body shop in the Chicago area,” said Sean Bromfield, Hertz region vice president. “The on-site body shop allows for greater fleet efficiencies, enabling Hertz to quickly get cars back into its rental fleet. Maaco's efficiency in repair time, superb quality and flexible billing options ensure that we'll have the fleet available to provide the fastest and easiest rental experience for our customers.”
Maaco Fleet Solutions’ value proposition fits Hertz fleet repair needs by providing unique billing solutions and national warranty on repairs, says Hertz. Additionally, Maaco’s business model helps reduce downtime and provides a point of contact for account support.
"Maaco Fleet Solutions is thrilled to be expanding our partnership with Hertz by exploring these unique opportunities," said Frank Petrane, Maaco’s vice president fleet sales. "Our value proposition of speed and quality will be an asset to the Hertz repair program by not only reducing downtime, but limiting the movement of their rental units."
