Hertz Named No. 1 Car Rental Company by <i>Travel + Leisure</i> Readers
The results of the 2012 World’s Best Awards by Travel + Leisure magazine revealed Hertz, Auto Europe, National Car Rental, Enterprise Rent-a-Car and Avis as readers’ top five car rental companies.
Travel + Leisure magazine named the top five car rental companies as voted by readers in the 2012 World’s Best Awards announced on July 6.
The survey reveals readers’ favorite hotels, cities, islands, cruise lines, airlines, car rental agencies, spas, safari outfitters and tour operators.
With a score of 79.6, Hertz moved up one spot from last year to be named readers’ favorite car rental company.
Auto Europe earned a 79.78 score to seal its No. 2 position this year, while National Car Rental followed in third with a score of 78.23, Enterprise Rent-a-Car in fourth with a 78.01, and Avis scored 76.37 as customers’ fifth favorite car rental company.
