Hertz has been named the exclusive car rental partner of United Airlines under an extended partnership, which begins Nov. 1.
As part of the partnership, members of the airline’s MileagePlus, MileagePlus Club and Presidential Plus Card programs will receive additional travel benefits, says the company.
MileagePlus members who book with Hertz can earn between 500 to 1,250 miles, says the company.
Additionally, travelers who reserve car rentals before Nov. 1 will receive the higher level of benefits available if they pick up their vehicle on or after Nov. 1.
Beginning Jan. 1, 2015, MileagePlus Global Services, Premier 1K and Premier Platinum members — as well as primary MileagePlus Club and Presidential Plus Card members — will be able to sign up for Hertz President's Circle status in the Hertz Gold Plus Rewards program, according to the company.
