Hertz NeverLost and Greenopia Bring Green Navigation to Rental Car Industry
The eco-friendly guide will be available to business and leisure travelers in Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York and the San Francisco Bay Area.
The Hertz Corporation, in collaboration with Navigation Solutions, developer of the Hertz NeverLost navigation system, and Greenopia, launched a new, eco-friendly guide to green businesses in five major metropolitan markets — Chicago, Dallas, Los Angeles, New York City and San Francisco Bay Area — as part of NeverLost's Online Trip Planning services.
The partnership is another first in the car rental industry for Hertz NeverLost, bringing business and leisure travelers a one-stop resource for making informed green choices for healthier lives.
"Our strategy is to add relevant content to NeverLost and offer customers trip planning that enhances the overall travel experience," Mark P. Frissora, chairman and chief executive officer of The Hertz Corporation. "With the addition of Greenopia to NeverLost Online Trip Planning, Hertz is making easier for renters to harness the latest technology to make eco-friendly decisions while traveling in to unfamiliar locations."
The Greenopia feature on the Hertz NeverLost trip planning site offers eco-friendly listings in 11 categories. Thousands of Greenopia-rated resources are available for downloading from the NeverLost Online Trip Planning Greenopia feature for effortless routing to each location.
