Hertz On Demand Expands in Texas
Hertz On Demand in San Antonio now includes the Nissan Leaf and seven additional parking locations throughout downtown San Antonio.
The Hertz Corp. announced the expansion of its car sharing program Hertz On Demand in San Antonio, Texas on Nov. 15.
Hertz introduced the Nissan Leaf into the fleet and added seven parking locations throughout downtown San Antonio. The rest of the Hertz On Demand fleet consists of compacts, sedans and SUVs.
San Antonio-area residents, city employees and tourists can sign up online to reserve cars that can be picked up from one of Hertz On Demand's hubs.
Daily rates start at $6.50 per hour and include 180 miles a day, gas and insurance.
"We've enjoyed a successful partnership with the city of San Antonio, seeing membership and usage continue to grow each month, and we're pleased to expand Hertz On Demand to make it even more convenient and accessible to residents, visitors and workers throughout the city," said Mark P. Frissora, Hertz chairman and CEO.
