Hertz Partners with German Airline
The Hertz Corp. has teamed up with German airline airberlin to offer special airline and car rental discounts at 171 destinations.

The Hertz Corp. has entered a two-year partnership with airberlin to offer exclusive car rental rates at airberlin’s 171 destinations. Under the partnership, the airberlin’s customers will have access to Hertz's products and services during the online flight booking process as well as from the airberlin website, says the company.
To kick off the partnership, the companies are offering $13.60 flight vouchers and up to 20% discounts in car rentals. According to Hertz, it will offer airberlin customers discounts between 5% and 20% for rentals made before July 30 for pick up until Dec. 31 in selected European countries.
In addition, airberlin will provide two flight vouches to customers who book a car with Hertz.
"We are proud to partner with one of Europe's leading airlines and to offer its customers our distinctive products, including Hertz's unique Collections and, at selected locations, our gold service for Gold Plus Rewards' members,” said Michel Taride, Hertz International’s group president.
"We are excited to have been able to bring Hertz, the world's leading car rental business, on board as a Premium Partner,” said Andre Rahn, airberlin’s senior vice president of marketing. "Flight passengers flying on airberlin's international route network will benefit from the new partnership, as they can now take advantage of Hertz's offers at practically every one of our airports."
