Hertz Global Holdings Inc. has signed a three-year extension to its partnership contract with Relais & Châteaux, an international collection of luxury properties. The new agreement marks a nine-year partnership and added benefits for Relais & Châteaux guests.
As part of this alliance, members of Relais & Châteaux Club 5C will benefit from an upgrade to President's Circle, the highest tier of Hertz's loyalty program Gold Plus Rewards.
Additionally, all Relais & Châteaux guests will now get access to Hertz’s Gold Plus Rewards Five Star tier and up to 15% percent off a Hertz car rental. Hertz Gold Plus Rewards members will continue to benefit from special offers from Relais & Châteaux on their gift boxes and gift certificates.
"Renewing our alliance with Relais & Châteaux, one of the world's most prestigious experts in refined hospitality, allows us to continue to offer its discerning guests a superior car rental experience at exceptional rates,” said Michel Taride, Group President, Hertz International. “Additionally, this is a great opportunity to extend our marketing reach even further. Hertz's superb car rental offering — including our exclusive Green, Family, Fun, Prestige, and Dream Collections — and excellent customer service are the perfect choice for Relais & Châteaux business and leisure guests."
"We take great pride to offer an introduction to a lifestyle inspired by local culture to all of our guests and work hard to ensure that our partners share our dedication to great customer service and satisfaction,” said Phillippe Gombert, president of Relais & Châteaux. “Hertz's commitment to excellence and its wide range of destinations are a natural choice for us. We are pleased to continue to offer our guests fantastic car rental value through Hertz's discounted rates and special benefits."
Guests of Relais & Châteaux can sign up to Hertz Gold Plus Rewards Five Star for free and take advantage of added value rewards that include discounts on best available rates, free additional driver, and car upgrades.
In addition, Five Star members are entitled to one reward rental day after 10 qualifying rentals, a one-car-class upgrade (subject to availability), and 10% bonus on Hertz Gold Plus Rewards points.
