The Hertz Corp. has given its Paris Saint Ferdinand flagship location a high-tech makeover. This renovation includes a streamlined layout with a more interactive customer service.

“Our aim is to wow the customer through all elements of their experience with us, from planning and booking through to pick up and return of their vehicle — all with an emphasis on flexibility, speed and value,” said Michel Taride, Hertz International president. “It's exciting to see the Hertz car rental revolution come back to its European birthplace — our Paris St. Ferdinand location was the first city center branch that Hertz operated in Europe, back in 1956.”

With the update, this location now features added space for customers, dual-screen high-resolution monitors at the counters and large screens with rotating scenes of Paris and Hertz's products, says Hertz.

In addition, the high-tech location also includes a “Recharge Zone” for mobile phones and electronic devices as well as complimentary Wi-Fi access. The “Discovery Zone” section allows customers to learn more about Paris and the surrounding area via touch screens. And there’s a Kid’s Zone with computer games and drawing software, according to Hertz.

Hertz has already renovated its European flagships locations at Frankfurt Airport and the London Marble Arch as well as at its U.S. airport locations in San Diego and Newark, N.J.
