Celebrating its the third anniversary, Hertz’s Gold Plus Rewards customer loyalty program is unveiling enhanced member benefits.
"Our breakthrough customer loyalty program is a first for the industry,” said Mark P. Frissora, Hertz chairman and CEO. “Compared with any other car rental company, it offers easier ways to earn and redeem points and maximum flexibility for point use. …”
According to Hertz, it is now easier for Gold members to move up in status and enjoy additional benefits. With the upgraded program, seven rentals now qualify members for Five Star (previously 10), and 20 rentals qualify members to join the President's Club (previously 40).
Other upgrades to the loyalty program include quicker enrollment, mobile alerts to let a customer know the type of vehicle and where it is parked, faster rentals by skipping the counter, more ways to earn points (Hertz NeverLost, fuel purchase, insurance coverage) and new reward destinations (redeem points for free days at more locations, including Ireland and Brazil).
