Hertz Upgrades Rewards Loyalty Program
Hertz’s Gold Plus Rewards program has added new services and enhanced existing ones, including quicker enrollment, mobile alerts and improved technology to view point balance.
Hertz has upgraded its Gold Plus Rewards loyalty program to make it easier for members to achieve higher ranks, earn and redeem extra points and access account balance information.
In addition to allowing members to upgrade monthly, the rental thresholds required to achieve and retain status have been lowered. Seven rentals qualify for Five Star (previously 10) and 20 rentals qualify for President’s Club (previously 40), says Hertz.
New services and enhancements include quicker enrollment, a faster rental process and mobile alerts. Additionally, Hertz Gold Choice guarantees rental cars will be ready immediately at pick-up with the option to choose something different on the spot, according to Hertz.
Beyond earning points on rental charges, Gold Plus members can earn points with services such as Hertz NeverLost, fuel purchases, SiriusXM Satellite Radio and insurance coverage options. Hertz has also added new destinations to its network where members can redeem points for free days, including Ireland and Brazil.
From now until April 15, Gold Plus members can earn triple points on qualifying rentals, says Hertz.
