HTA Holdings Inc., owner of Highway Toll Administration LLC (HTA), a provider of toll management services for the rental car industry, announces it has acquired Violation Management Services (VMS), a Montana-based company that provides violation resolution services for fleets and the rental car industry.
The addition of VMS’ services, which address such non-toll violations as speeding, parking, and other traffic infractions, complements HTA’s toll-related offerings to provide a comprehensive product suite for fleet owners and rental car companies, according to the company.
The acquisition was finalized in May and is being announced now that integration of the two companies is complete, including the renaming of the acquired company to Violation Management Solutions.
“We are thrilled to be able to add VMS’s 26-plus years of experience and unique skill sets to the HTA family,” says David Centner, HTA founder and CEO. “I have known Dennis Round and the VMS team for many years, and their solutions and customer-centric culture are a perfect fit for HTA as we continue to expand and diversify the solutions we provide to our customers.”
“I am excited to see VMS move to the next stage of its evolution and growth,” says Dennis Round, founder and president of VMS. “The resources that HTA brings to our business will enable the newly combined company to efficiently accelerate the development of new solutions surrounding tolling services and traffic violations. I am excited to be part of this growth and look forward to playing a key role in expanding our business going forward.”
Both Violation Management Solutions and Highway Toll Administration are wholly-owned subsidiaries of HTA Holdings Inc.
