iCarClub Announces Expansion Plans for 2013
After raising $482,000 from Red Dot Ventures, the peer-to-peer rental car marketplace aims to expand its operations from Singapore to China and increase its members and vehicles to 5,000 members and 1,000 vehicles.
According to TechInAsia.com on March 8, iCarsClub, a peer-to-peer marketplace for renting cars in Singapore, raised $482,000 from Red Dot Ventures to expand its operations to major cities in China, including Beijing and Shanghai.
The company’s goal in 2013 is to increase the amount of cars in its marketplace to 1,000 and reach 5,000 members.
iCarsClub launched in 2012 in Singapore. Currently, the company has 3,000 members in its database with more than 300 cars available.
