Interested in learning tips for navigating the employment interview minefield? This International Car Rental Show seminar can help you determine which questions to ask and which questions to avoid when interviewing candidates.
Pat the Trainer, NP Auto Group’s director of training and development, will lead this interactive session by diving into the art of crafting interview questions. Asking specific questions can reveal valuable insights into the candidates you’re looking to hire while steering clear of potential legal pitfalls.
Additionally, Pat will explore the importance of knowing what to ask for both hourly and salaried employees, helping to not only reveal a candidate’s qualifications but also contribute to a positive interview experience.
“A seemingly innocuous question could inadvertently provide information later used for litigation, potentially putting your business at risk of $1 million or more,” Pat the Trainer said. “Be aware that the seeds of some successful lawsuits can be sown as early as the first job interview.”
The “Navigating the Employment Interview Minefield” seminar will be moderated by Sharon Faulkner, executive director of the American Car Rental Association (ACRA).
The International Car Rental Show will be held April 15-17, 2024, at Horseshoe Las Vegas. Registration is open, and early bird pricing ends March 15.
