Inaugural Car Sharing Conference Convenes in San Diego
The conference, held Feb. 22-24, provided educational seminars and networking opportunities for vehicle suppliers to peer-to-peer platforms such as Turo and Getaround.

About 150 Car Sharing Conference attendees, predominantly suppliers to Turo's peer-to-peer rental platform as "hosts," came from across the U.S. to San Diego for the weekend event.

The inaugural Car Sharing Conference took place in San Diego at the Sheraton San Diego Hotel & Marina Feb. 22-24. The event was designed for suppliers to peer-to-peer (P2P) rental platforms (or “hosts”) such as Turo and Getaround as well as ride-hail platforms HyreCar and Dryve.
The event was hosted by Luso, a Turo host and one of the largest suppliers of luxury vehicles to the Turo platform.
The audience of about 150 attendees — predominantly Turo hosts with a handful to a hundred vehicles on the platform — took in seminar topics around insurance, company branding, classic car rentals, and technology.
Networking opportunities included a kickoff reception on Friday and a dinner on Saturday night.
