Among the three winners was EV Rental. The company provides electric and alternative-fuel vehicles, and was recognized for its innovative marketing approach, which allows the general public to experience EVs and other alternative-fuel vehicles at reasonable prices.
The formal presentation of awards took place on February 24, 2000 at the Blue Sky Award 2000 Luncheon in Pasadena, Calif.
