Is Franchising Right for You?
A seminar at the 2013 Car Rental Show will help to answer this question.
For independent car rental companies considering joining a franchise system, a pre-conference seminar at the 2013 Car Rental Show will give you the tools to better understand if franchising is the right move for you.
During “The Changing Landscape of Franchising,” representatives from the franchise systems will discuss the recent changes to the franchisee landscape in the U.S. and abroad, the costs and benefits to franchising in general and a breakdown of specific requirements by brand. Attendees will be able to ask questions of each of the panelists.
Sharon Faulkner, executive director of the American Car Rental Association and a former franchisee, will moderate a panel that includes Bob Barton of FSNA/U-Save Car & Truck Rental, Scott Deaver of Avis Budget Group, Michael DeLorenzo of Rent-A-Wreck of America, Tom Kelley of Hertz and Dollar Thrifty Auto Group and Richard Stevens of Payless Car Rental System.
This two-hour pre-conference seminar will start at 10 am on Monday, April 15. The 2013 Car Rental Show takes place April 15-16, 2013 at the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. To see the full schedule and to register for the event, go to www.carrentalshow.com.
