Impressed by Kony’s ability to design and build mobile apps across multiple devices and operating systems, Localiza chose Kony’s Mobility Platform and solutions for its enterprise-wide mobility strategy, says the company.

Kony will help Localiza build several consumer-facing and employee productivity mobile apps, including a mobile app for its car rental customers to use to make reservations, a shuttle airport pickup app for customers, a field services app for Localiza’s representatives to efficiently manage car rental return checkout processes and a desktop app to support its car rental contracting process.

“Being responsive to customer needs and delivering the best service will enable us to continue our success and stay ahead of our competition,” said Alberto Campos, chief information officer at Localiza. “Many of our customers use smartphones or handheld digital devices, and we need to make it convenient for them to quickly and efficiently get the car they need. … With Kony’s help, we will mobilize our entire business so we can deliver greater value to our customers.”

Kony customers include global banks, health care providers, automotive, manufacturing, travel, hospitality and retail organizations.

“Mobile apps can transform businesses in a powerful way,” said Oscar Clarke, vice president of Latin America, Kony Inc. “Localiza’s commitment to delivering the best customer service has attributed to their success over the past 40 plus years. Now, with their new mobile strategy, they will become the most responsive car rental company, offering the industry’s best digitally advanced customer experience. ...”
