Louisville International Airport Reconfigures Parking Lot for Rental Cars
An additional 200 spaces will be added to the airport’s parking lot and traffic flow will be realigned to better suit rental vehicles, according to the Courier Journal.
Louisville International Airport officials announced the Kentucky airport’s projects scheduled for 2013, which include a revamped car rental lot, according to the Courier-Journal on Dec 27.
C.T. “Skip” Miller, executive director of the Louisville Regional Airport Authority, said 200 spaces will be added for a total of 650 spaces in the lot. Incoming and outgoing traffic flow in the lot will also be realigned.
The $6.9 million expansion and reconfiguration of the parking lot will be under construction by spring.
