On April 24, Lyft expanded its peer-to-peer ride-sharing service to 24 cities in 24 hours. This brings the total to 60 U.S. cities, more than any other ride-sharing platform service, says Lyft.
To celebrate each new market, the company’s “Lyftapalooza” will offer free rides for two weeks in each of its new U.S. cities, which include Albuquerque, Buffalo, Colorado Springs, Fresno, Jacksonville, Kansas City, Memphis, Oklahoma City, Omaha, Spokane, Toledo and Virginia Beach.
In addition, Lyft has lowered its prices by another 10% during its busy season to commemorate its biggest launch day, says the company.
