Lyft has announced an expansion of its ride-hailing service to more than 50 new cities in the U.S., according to a report by Lyft.
These new locations are part of Lyft’s expansion this year, which started with a 40-city launch a month ago.

The launch will expand the app’s coverage and presence to more locations nationwide, including Fort Myers, Fla., Des Moines, Iowa, Topeka, Kan., Columbus, Ohio, Augusta, Ga., Bismarck, N.D., Amarillo, Texas, Topeka, Kan., and Flint, Mich.
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
The combination brings actionable vehicle insights into PurCo’s PurInspect platform, improving damage detection and operational efficiency for rental fleets.
