Starting in San Francisco, the Lyft Line service has now expanded to 14 U.S. cities, according to a Lyft report. In the last two years, Lyft Line riders have traveled 135 million miles.
Currently, Lyft Line makes up more than 40% of all Lyft rides in San Francisco, according to the report. And 50% of Line riders only take Line in the Lyft app.
Lyft Line has been a way to provide more affordable rides to more people. Line riders are filling seats that would otherwise be empty, says the report.
