Lyft to Offer Discounted Rides to Voters on Election Day
Ride-hailing service Lyft will offer free and discounted rides to voters facing transportation obstacles on Election Day.
In addition to the rides, Lyft will also provide passengers and drivers with voter registration information and have a product integration to help them find their polling location.

Lyft will offer free and discounted rides to underserved communities on Election Day Nov. 6 as an effort to increase voter turnout, the company announced.
The ride-hailing service said it will partner with organizations such as Vote.org, Nonprofit Vote, and TurboVote to distribute half-priced discount codes to riders, and nonpartisan, nonprofit partners such as Voto Latino, local Urban League affiliates, the National Federation for the Blind to provide free rides to underserved communities.
