A man has been arrested for stealing rental cars from companies like JustRide and Zoom in India, according to an article by Bangalore Mirror.
In August 2017, JustRide filed a complaint with police that a man had rented a vehicle but had not returned it.

Police recovered the vehicles and found that the man would use fake documents to rent the vehicles then drive across state borders, remove the GPS system and change the vehicle registration numbers. After using the cars for drug peddling, he would sell the car using fake documents.
Rental operators can now detect and act on speeding while vehicles are still on rent, thereby reducing fines, admin workload, vehicle wear, and safety risks.
