Market Metrix: Enterprise Number One in Hospitality for 2006
The hospitality index ranks the nation's car rental companies according to customer satisfaction surveys administered by Market Metrix, a provider of market research for the hospitality industry.

Last week Market Metrix announced the results of their 2006 annual Hospitality Index ratings. The Market Metrix Hospitality Index (MMHI) evaluates customer satisfaction with hotel, airline and car rental companies based on 140,000 in-depth consumer interviews conducted each year.
The MMHI ranked Enterprise as the number one rental company in 2006, with Avis and Hertz coming in second and third respectively.
Average customer satisfaction remained unchanged from the previous quarter at 78.9, and Payless showed the biggest improvement, moving up 2.8 to 75.1, while Advantage fell by 4.5 down to 76.1.
Market Metrix releases their newsletter quarterly and annually, providing rankings of the top hospitality brands by industry and giving detailed, in-depth reports about the data. For more information about Market Metrix, visit www.marketmetrix.com.
