Mex Rent A Car has launched in Guatemala with a location at La Aurora International Airport.

“With this new affiliate location, we are getting closer to connect Mexico with all of our south neighbors,” said Jordi Rivero, Mex’s chief product officer. “Hopefully the time will come when our customers can rent a vehicle and visit different countries without difficulties.”

Recently, Mex opened a location in Tuxtla, Mexico.

“Guatemala is our third location within Central America, and we are very excited about this,” said Javier Garcia, Mex’s chief business development officer. “Our main target is to be able to offer equal service and competitive rates for all the countries we’re in. Our goal market is definitely LATAM.”

Currently, Mex has affiliate locations in several countries, including Canada, Jamaica, Puerto Rico, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Saint Maarten, Panama, and Romania.
