The first Renter Rated Award from CarRentalExpress — a comparison and bookings site dedicated to independent car rental agencies — was presented during Monday’s opening seminar at the 2013 Auto Rental Summit in Hollywood, Fla.
After receiving the highest score in the Renter Rated Program from Dec. 1, 2012 - Sept. 30, 2013, Midway Car Rental won the inaugural award. This independent car rental company has nine locations in the Los Angeles area and a branch in San Diego.
“On behalf of the entire Midway team, we are honored to be recognized by our esteemed clientele,” says Beth Eidman, director of website operations for Midway Car Rental. “Midway takes great pride in delivering a high quality product and top notch service that not only meets, but exceeds, the expectations of our discerning clients. Our goal at Midway is to offer a uniquely superior experience and our dedicated team of professionals works hard every day to meet that goal.”
“We would like to thank CarRentalExpress for providing the opportunity for this honor and our clients for their praise and continued support,” adds Eidman.
Renter Rated is a CarRentalExpress.com exclusive program that allows renters to review and rate their CarRentalExpress.com rental in nine categories using 1 to 5 stars, along with an opportunity to provide written comments about the rental.
Since 2005, Renter Rated has collected thousands of ratings of car rentals, says Stan Levy, chair of Express Internet Technologies, the parent company of CarRentalExpress.com.
“Renter Rated will keep owners and managers informed about what is going on at the rental counter,” says Levy. “There needs to be an unbiased available source of information concerning renters and how they are treated. Renter Rated is available at no charge to all rental agencies whether or not they are Express Internet Technology clients.”
