Due to positive response, National Car Rental has extended its summer promotion for an additional 30 days.
Last month, National started offering a 10% discount off its retail base rates for customers who book a weekly or weekend rental. Today, National announced it will extend the offer to rentals booked on or before July 14.
“The success we’ve seen thus far with the National promotion indicates that consumers are looking for ways to reduce travel costs during the busy summer season,” said Rob Connors, vice president of brand marketing, National Car Rental. “We’re thrilled to extend the offer so that more of our customers can take advantage of savings when they hit the road this summer.”
The summer promotion applies to all car classes, including luxury vehicles, and no blackout dates apply, according to the company. The discount is valid off the base retail rate for car rentals booked for pick up today through Aug. 31, 2015, at participating locations in the U.S. and Canada.
